House Portraits in Watercolor

Kathy Pilling-Whitney will be offering a free 2-part class on painting a realistic “portrait” of a building in watercolor. Classes will be held on Saturday, September 21st and 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day. The class is open to students ages 16 and up. The Gmeiner will be provide basic materials, but if students have their own preferred watercolors, paper, and brushes, please bring them. Students are asked to bring a printed image of architecture (house, barn, courthouse, church, etc.) to work from. The first session will focus on drawing the building. The second session will focus on painting the building with watercolors. Students must be able to attend both classes. Pre-registration is REQUIRED and there is no cost to attend.
