Register for PA CareerLink® Pre-Employment Skills Workshops

Four of the PA CareerLink® Tioga County Pre-Employment Skills Workshops are being offered to job seekers both in-person at the Tioga County office at 56 Plaza Lane in Wellsboro and virtually.

Anyone interested in attending any of these workshops in person can call the PA CareerLink® office at 570-724-1939 or TTY 570-724-6356 to register or can register online through the website to attend virtually. The Virtual Workshops are: 

Life After Layoff Virtual Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 9am — What to do after a layoff and starting your new job search

Effective Interviewing Workshop Virtual Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 1pm — Helpful suggestions that will assist the job seeker before, during, and after an interview.

The In-Person only Workshops are: 

WIOA Info Session In-Person Only Monday, Oct. 16 at 1pm — Learn about the opportunities, services and eligibility requirements of our (WIOA) Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Career Advising Programs

Discovering Your Career Path Workshop In-Person Only Thursday, Oct. 26 at 9:30am — Will provide an overview on assessments and why they are valuable, how to research occupations, & how to obtain free/low cost training

Professional Résumés & Cover Letters Workshop In-Person Only Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 1pm — Discuss information, such as résumé types and résumé design essentials as well as what to include in a cover letter needed to apply for jobs.
