Pick Two Songs Beginning Feb. 12 to Prepare for Auditions on

March 1 & 3 for “My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra”

Hamilton-Gibson is holding auditions for “My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra” at 6:30pm on Sunday, March 1 and Tuesday, March 3 in the Warehouse Theatre at 3 Central Avenue in Wellsboro. Needed are strong male and female solo vocalists. The play is set in a 1950s nightclub and performed by singers who, with their vocal style, each bring out a facet of Sinatra. The play is written for adult men and women who sing more than 50 songs recorded by “Old Blue Eyes”. “People who audition are asked to prepare two of the songs from a list that will be available on the Hamilton-Gibson website (www.hamiltongibson.org) and Facebook page beginning Wednesday, Feb. 12. “This is not about impersonating Frank Sinatra,” said HG Artistic Director Thomas Putnam. “Rather, it is a classy tribute to his musical style, his era and some of the 20th century’s most beautiful songs.” Performances will be at 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays, May 15 and 16 and May 22 and 23 and at 2:30pm on Sunday, May 17.
